The necklace features an adjustable 20 inch black leather rope with lobster clasp. The pendant itself measures a good 5 inches. The Howlite gemstone is rectangular in shape and has 8 sides, which makes it an octagon of sorts, just an imperfect octagon. Please note that the drilled hole is not centered, but rather off to the side. The beads are a mixture of topaz glass and solid black. There is one black jump ring that attaches to the leather rope; the rest are silver wire-wrapped.

The black hanging wire earrings measure approximately 3 inches. They feature two different sizes of howlite stars with two black beads: a large one in the center, and a small one hanging from the larger star. The largest of the two stars is only approximately 1 inch by 1 inch. The smaller star is about 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch. Except for the black jump ring that attaches to the fishhook ear wire earrings, they have been wrapped with black wire.

The charm has the same pattern and size as the earrings, but with a black lobster claw attached instead. With the exception of one black jump ring that attaches to the lobster claw, it features black wire wrapping.

What is wire wrapping? It's is one of the oldest techniques for making handmade jewelry that involves the skillful shaping of wire to make and attach components. The additional creative "sculpting" of the wire is often combined as an element of design Because of this technique for wrapping wire around itself, the craft is called wire wrapping.
