Regular price $17.99

Include your personal message, not to exceed 60 characters.
Check which of the following additional cutouts (what we call confetti) that you would like us to include::

Our handmade, 3D stand-up Nowruz greeting card features the Hyacinth, which is a symbol of spring and renewal to those who celebrate Nowruz or Novruz, the Iranian New Year.

Really more gift - or even keepsake - than card, our hyacinth is packaged in Kraft gable box with shredded tissue and comes with our version of confetti: the color coordinated cutouts like flowers, butterflies and even the word Love and XOXO if you'd like. We also include a card that tells all about the items found on the Haftsin table, as well as cutouts of some of the symbols. (See pictures.)  Did we mention the candy?  We also include 3 ounces of Hershey Chocolate Kisses.

We print your personal message on a separate card and handprint the To and From names on a matching gift tag that is attached to the outside of the gable box in which your keepsake is package.

Our purple hyacinth measures approximately 4" x 3 1/2" and is handmade using layers of card stock with foam mounting. A third layer has been used to accentuate the hyacinth and the bow on the pot. Of course, there are little touches of glitter just to make it more festive!

Besides our  color-and-theme-coordinated card stock cutouts that are illustrated in the photograph, we are also including symbols that represent the holiday, some of which are among the 7.

  1. Seeb (apple), representing beauty
  2. Seer (garlic), representing good health
  3. Sabzeh (sprouts), representing rebirth
  4. Sekeh (coins), representing prosperity
  5. a goldfish swimming in a bowl, representing life
  6. painted eggs, representing fertility
  7. book, representing the Quran to some, or poerty by Hafez, one of Iran's most beloved poets, to others.
  8. clock, representing the passage of time
